The most beautiful composites innovations at the JEC Composites Innovation Planets

Discover the composites technologies, people and organisations shaping the future through JEC Group’s showcases of creativity & collaboration: the renowned JEC Composites Innovation Awards, Startup Booster challenge, & industry-themed Innovation Planets.

Thanks to their absolutely unique properties and possibilities, composites are used in a wide range of applications. The “Innovation Planets,” life-size exhibition spaces showcasing the latest composite innovations, will present parts from various companies and R&D centers from around the world.

There will be two « Innovation Planets » at JEC World 2024 : • Mobility Planet : including automobiles, land transportation (railways, trucks, buses…), aerospace, drones, and new mobility solutions. • Construction & Industry Planet : encompassing civil engineering and construction, as well as marine, machinery & equipment, renewable energies (…).

The “Construction & Industry” planet focuses on construction and leisure. It also covers major areas such as civil engineering, bridges, maritime transportation, equipment and machinery, as well as renewable energies.

The Mobility Planet reflects both the dynamic changes shaping the future of mobility and the enormous opportunities it holds for the mobility ecosystems of tomorrow, particularly in land transportation and aerospace.

JEC World 2024 nods to the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games with a dedicated exhibition area! This exhibition will be an opportunity to showcase the close links between composites and sports, as well as the increasing use of composites in the past few years in 18 out of the 28 sports featured in the Summer Games. The “Discover Composites” exhibition will be located at the entrance of Hall 6, in the main gallery. It will showcase the evolution of composite applications in various disciplines up to the present day, through a variety of engaging formats, including real products and processes, as well as material samples.
