Eva Bawden Obituary 2024 - McDougal Funeral Home

Our beloved Eva June Bawden, age 42, left us far too soon on June 16, 2024, in Provo, Utah.

Eva grew up in a large family. She is number five of fourteen children, born to Dee Jay Bawden and JoAnn Lucile Giles, on June 20, 1981, at Cottonwood Hospital in Murray, Utah.

Eva was a loving mother to five children - Anthony, Trinity, Annabelle, Zachary, and Isaac, and grandmother to Charlotte.

Growing up with the influence of artistic parents, Eva excelled at art. She was talented at sketching, painting, and tattooing. She even started a mural and window painting business and painted many murals and windows in both Salt Lake and Utah county. Eva was also very gifted at doing hair and make-up, and she often acted as our resident beautician, graciously offering her services for weddings and other family gatherings, or even just to make someone feel better about themselves by helping them look 'hot' for the day.

Eva enjoyed sewing as well. She sewed many costumes with her sisters and for her children.

She loved spending time in nature with her children and cooking nice dinners for them.

Eva is survived by her father, Dee Jay (Deana), and her siblings - Amy, Jay Dee, Angela, Molly (Scott), Bonnie (Richard), James (Megan), Paul (Michaela), Margene, Audrey (Adam), Beth, and Koleen. And her children - Anthony (Leigh), Trinity, Annabelle, Zachary, and Issac, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Eva was preceded in death by her mother JoAnn, and two of her brothers - Joshua and Spencer.
