Letter: Most ceramic pieces are a work of art - Alexandria Echo Press | News, weather and sports from Alexandria, Minnesota

Tammy Justin is upset with the Saturday Art Market because her ceranic work is no longer considered a form of art (Wednesday, May 29 letter). I am certainly not an art critic and I have never been to the Saturday Art Market, but I would consider most ceramic pieces a work of art.

I would consider most sculptures as a piece of art. I would consider most paintings on canvas a piece of art. There are many forms of art that are not on a canvas.
